Discover the Black Sea region of Turkey and the wild landscapes of Georgia on a journey that connects personal roots with untamed nature.
We begin in Istanbul and travel slowly along Turkey’s northern coast to Trabzon, moving through misty mountains and small seaside towns. This region is deeply personal to me. Along the way, we visit the village and house where my grandparents come from.
From there, the journey continues into the Caucasus, where dramatic peaks and remote villages shape the road ahead. We travel light using local transport, stay in simple, genuine accommodations and focus on hikes in nature.
